Anahita Bagheri (she/they) is an Iranian interdisciplinary artist based in NYC. She Moved to New York from Tehran in 2022. She earned an MFA from Parsons School of Design on a full presidential scholarship in 2024. Bagheri has exhibited internationally at the 2nd Iran Contemporary Art Biennial, Bon-gah Art Book Fair, O Gallery, Etemad Gallery, and Soo Contemporary in Tehran; Arsenal Contemporary, Transmitter, Sarahcrown, and BravinLee in NYC. Bagheri was awarded the 2025 NYFA Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program and residencies such as Ucross Foundation, Blue Mountain Center, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). Bagheri teaches at Rutgers University-Newark and SVA (School of Visual Arts).
